Story
Hi Everyone,
My name is Florence and I’m six and a half years old. I’ve been growing my hair for my whole life, with only 2 trims ever done. Therefore, I have a lot of hair and would like to donate this to The Little Princess Trust.
Children with cancer is something that has affected the school I attend, and I’d like to do what I can to support similar children as best I can. My love my hair and it means a lot to me (I’ve always said I want to grow it as long as Rapunzel) but I know that some children need it more than I do. By donating my hair, I hope to bring a smile to their faces and help them feel more confident and happier.
The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions such as Alopecia. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK. The Little Princess Trust relies solely on the generosity of its wonderful supporters who help the charity give Hair and Hope to so many children and young people with cancer each year. The charity gives the wigs to children for free however it costs on average £700 to make and fit each wig.
By donating to my fundraiser for the Little Princess Trust, you can help provide Hair and Hope to so many children and young people with cancer each year. Together, we can make a difference! Therefore, it would be fantastic if you’ll be able to support me, as not only do I want to donate my hair, but I’m hoping to fundraise the amount it costs to make and fit a wig as well.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity!
Love,
Florence
