Hi Everyone!

I'm excited to share that I am taking part in the 55 mile London to Brighton Cycle Ride on the 15th September.

Growing up in London, I always had visions of getting on my bike and escaping to the seaside, and now I finally have the chance to do it. I am grateful to have the opportunity to do this whilst raising money for a charity which is very important to me. Mind provides resources for those struggling with all aspects of their mental health and for everyone so that we can better understand and support those around us. They also campaign to improve mental health care, which is desperately needed as there are nearly 2 million people waiting for NHS mental health services, and probably many more who are yet to seek help.

This is not going to be easy for me! I have never cycled anything like this distance and never taken part in an organised ride, but I'm really looking forward to the challenge (especially those hills.... see pic of me struggling up a hill in the Yorkshire Dales)
