On Saturday 17 October 2026, I will be taking part in the Wanstead High School PTA Fun Run 2026, and while I may not be a natural runner, I am proud to take on this challenge for a cause that matters deeply to our school community.

This year’s heatwave had a real impact on our children and their learning. With classrooms becoming too hot, the school had to close at times, disrupting lessons and making it harder for pupils to stay focused, comfortable, and able to thrive.

As part of the PTA, we want to do something positive and lasting to support every child.

We are hoping to raise as much as possible to help fund the installation of air conditioning units, creating a safer, cooler, and more comfortable environment for learning.

This is an important step in supporting our children’s wellbeing, their education, and the future of our school.

Please consider donating if you can.

Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to our goal and helps us make a real difference.

Your support means so much to us, and together we can create a better place for our children to learn and grow.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast, and secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.

Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity, making it one of the most efficient ways to give and helping us focus on what matters most: our children’s education and wellbeing.
