Financial crisis and hardship have a devastating effect on individual and family life. We journey with people, providing practical help, advice and support. We aim to tackle and prevent these issues while maintaining dignity, reviving hope and enabling people to live life to the full.

Story

We are excited to be opening the Garden and the Flower Farm at Floriston on Wednesday May 17th in aid of the Haverhill Foodbank

Restoring Dignity, Reviving Hope

We believe that everyone deserves to live their lives to the full. However, financial crisis, hardship and poverty-related issues have a devastating effect on individual and family life.

Debt, low income and homelessness can lead to mental health problems, relationship breakdown, low aspiration, marginalisation, poor health and low self-esteem.

Haverhill Foodbank exists to provide emergency food for local families in financial crisis and hardship.  This is short term support whilst we work with the families to uncover the root issue and ultimately, lift them out of the crisis.   Haverhill Foodbank is part of REACH Community Projects that runs a number of projects that aims to lift families out of financial crisis and hardship. www.reachhaverhill.org.uk  (Registered in England & Wales Charity No: 1169108)
