Help Us Celebrate Jose!

On 16th October, we’ll be celebrating a very special birthday! Jose’s 60th!

Jose may officially be our school caretaker, but to the children, parents and staff of Countess Anne, he is so much more than that. He is one of those special people who is simply part of the heart of our school. Whether he’s opening the gates, fixing something that’s broken, helping at an event, lending a hand when it’s needed or simply greeting the children and families with a familiar smile, Jose is always there.

So, for his birthday, FOCAS would love to show him just how much he means to our school community.

We are collecting donations towards a special cash gift for Jose, and we’ll also be getting him a birthday cake to mark the occasion. Any contribution, big or small, would be greatly appreciated.

Please leave a birthday message for Jose too!

When you make your donation, we would love you to leave a personal message, birthday wish or a few words from you and your children. All of the messages will be printed and put together into a special birthday card for Jose, which we will present to him along with his gift.

Even if you’re unable to donate, we’d still love you to leave a message so that as many families as possible can be part of his birthday surprise.

And we need your help with the biggest part of the surprise!

On Friday 16th October, we’re hoping to surprise Jose on the school playground at pick-up time with his cake and have as many parents and children as possible join us to sing Happy Birthday to him.

We would absolutely love to see the playground filled with the families and children he has helped, supported and made smile over the years.
