On Sunday 27 September, Oscar and I will be taking on the Spartan Race London South East to raise money for Friends of Centre Stage.

The race includes running, mud, climbing, carrying and a course full of obstacles. With less than four weeks remaining, our training is underway—and we would love the entire Centre Stage community to get involved!

Our initial target is to raise £1,000 before race day. With the support of our families, students, staff and friends, we would love to reach that target as quickly as possible—and then see how far beyond it we can go!

Friends of Centre Stage helps children and young people access opportunities they might otherwise miss. The charity supports funded academy places, productions and experiences, helping ensure that financial circumstances do not prevent a young person from participating and performing.

This will be more than a normal sponsorship campaign. As well as sponsoring us, you can set us challenges, make us compete against each other and vote for our forfeits!

THE CHALLENGE MENU

£5 — Cast a Forfeit Vote - Choose the forfeit you would most like to see us complete.

£10 — Suggest a Challenge - Send us your own safe and sensible challenge idea. Suggestions must be approved and may be adapted to fit our training plan.

£20 — Challenge Frankie or Oscar - Choose one of us to complete an approved individual challenge.

£30 — Frankie vs Oscar -Choose an approved challenge for us to complete head-to-head.

£50 — Choose an Academy Spartan Challenge - Nominate a Centre Stage academy and choose its 60-second challenge. Students and staff can join in together at break before Frankie and Oscar complete the same exercise.

VOTE FOR OUR FORFEIT

Every £5 donated gives you one vote:

1. Tutu Training - We complete a training session wearing tutu skirts.

2. CSTA Dance Challenge - Students choose and teach us a dance routine to perform after training.

3. Musical-Theatre Duet - We perform and film a dramatic musical-theatre duet chosen by our students.

4. CSTA Costume Challenge - Students choose a theatre costume or character theme for one of our training sessions.

5. Ice-Bucket Finale - The loser of our final head-to-head challenge receives an ice-bucket soaking.

ACADEMY SPARTAN CHALLENGES

All our academies will have the opportunity to join in with a simple 60-second Spartan Challenge during break time.

This could be 60 seconds of burpees, press-ups, sit-ups, squats, planking or star jumps.

Everyone can participate at their own pace—there will be no counting, scoring or pressure. Little Ones will also be given an easier version where needed.

The academy will then challenge Oscar and me to complete the same exercise!

When donating, please include your selection in your JustGiving message using the following format:

If you are simply sponsoring us, you can leave any message you like!

Challenge requests and forfeit voting close on Sunday 20 September, giving us time to complete everything safely before race day. General sponsorship will remain open throughout the race weekend.
