Story

السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ

Indeed, our hearts are saddened and our eyes shed tears with our Father’s recent diagnosis and his very poor health but we will not say except that which pleases our Lord:

ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَآ أَصَٰبَتۡهُم مُّصِيبَةٞ قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّآ إِلَيۡهِ رَٰجِعُونَ

'Those who when afflicted with calamity say: "Truly! To Allah we belong and truly, to Him we shall return' (2:156)

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (continuing charity), knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him”

My Parents entire life was epitomised by sacrifice, helping others and selflessness. They are pious, humble & embody the teachings of Islam in their daily life. They are deeply devoted to their faith, constantly seeking to strengthen their relationship with Allah and striving to live a life of righteousness and humility. It is for that reason, we want to help construct a Masjid on behalf of them.

The Messenger of Allah, Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), said: “Whoever builds a Masjid for the sake of Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.”

By constructing a masjid, we honour their dedication to their faith and their exemplary character. It becomes a lasting legacy that continues to benefit the community and future generations. The masjid acts as a place of worship, where Muslims can gather to pray, find solace, and strengthen their connection with Allah.

Their unwavering commitment to prayer, regularly attending the mosque for congregational prayers and engaging in additional voluntary prayers. They are also diligent in their recitation and study of the Quran, seeking guidance and wisdom from its verses.

We kindly request everyone to remember my Parents in your sincere and heartfelt duaas, and to be a part of this good by donating and sharing so that this could be a means of ongoing charity for them & to all those donating. Inshaa’Allah this will also be your chance of setting up Sadaqah Jariyah for you and your loved ones.

Lastly, please join us to make dua for our dad and all our parents.

We sincerely pray that when Allah, Almighty decides it is time for our parents to return to Him- may it be when Allah is most pleased with them. May their good deeds be multiplied immensely. May all their shortcomings be forgiven fully. May they be granted ease in this life & hereafter. May their imaan remain strong, may their tongues remain moist with the rememberance of Allah and may they leave the dunya with shahada on their lips. And ultimately we pray Allah showers His mercy upon these beautiful souls and builds for them a beautiful everlasting home in Jannatul Firdous.

Ameen ❤️
