InTouch Foundation is a Charitable organisation, and is a community based effort to address the plight of homeless men and women on the streets of Yorkshire and at times of crisis accross different parts of the world. Our dual purpose is to bring attention to this plight and provide an organisation where volunteers can become directly involved in the preparation and feeding of the less fortunate that exist on the edge of our society. We deliver hot meals and emotional support to men and women directly on the streets – wherever the need is greatest.

Story

Help Us Bring Food & Creativity to Children in Pakistan

Imagine being a child with endless imagination—but no food on your plate and no safe place to create and play.

This is the reality for millions of children in Pakistan. But with your help, we can start to change that. The Leap in partnership with In Touch Foundation are launching a grassroots project that brings nutritious meals and inspiring arts activities directly to impoverished children in urban Pakistan.

Our goal is simple

· To provide incentives for parents to enrol and keep their children at school.

· To provide arts and creative experiences for children to fire their imaginations and support their well-being and self-confidence.

· A minimum two-hour expressive arts provision within the school week.

Pakistan’s government allocates a small percentage of its GDP to education, typically around 2%. This low spending impacts public schools significantly, resulting in outdated infrastructure, lack of teacher training, and minimal access to modern technology. Public schools are entirely funded by the government; however, limited budgets often result in overcrowded classrooms, a lack of teaching materials, and poorly maintained facilities. There is limited access to creativity in the classroom.

What We’re Doing

· Providing regular, healthy meals to children who often go hungry or rely on unsafe food sources or at risk of being taken out of school to earn money.

· Hosting free arts-based activities—from painting and storytelling to music —to help children express themselves, develop confidence, and experience joy in a safe, welcoming environment.

· Connecting artists and teachers in the UK with those in Pakistan for training opportunities in expressive and therapeutic arts.

Why Arts?

Creativity is a lifeline. Art gives children a voice, a way to process trauma, and an opportunity to build positive self-worth. For children who are often ignored or marginalised, the chance to be creative—and be celebrated for it—is a powerful step toward healing and hope.

The Impact

Your donation will directly fund:

· Hot meals and clean drinking water

· Artists fees, art supplies and equipment

· Safe spaces to host our activities

· Empowered teachers able to include arts in the curriculum

· Transportation and small stipends for local facilitators and volunteers

Together, we can:

· Keep children at school

· Reduce hunger and malnutrition among vulnerable children

· Offer moments of happiness, creativity, and connection

· Build a model for long-term community-based support for the arts

Please donate and share this page with your friends, family, and networks. Let’s come together to give these children what every child deserves: food, love, and a chance to dream.
