Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Last year with the help of Cheltenham Town FC I was able to raise 270 pounds for Dementia UK after sponsoring the Port Vale game last year.

This year I'm hoping to once again raise money and awareness for Dementia UK to help people affected with this terrible disease.

My dad passed away in June 2022 after a battle with the horrible affliction, and after seeing first hand how Dementia can affect a person, I'm hoping to help Dementia UK help people and families who are battling it.

My dad and me both were avid football fans and one of my favourite memories is him taking me to my first football game, Cheltenham vs Grimsby in the playoff final at the Millennium Stadium. And from then my support and love for Cheltenham grew through the years.

I'm once again sponsoring a game with Cheltenham Town on the 2nd of March against Burton Albion, on what would have been the eve of my dads 73rd birthday.

As part of the match I'll be donating 10 pounds for every goal in the game and 5 pounds for each shot taken and save made by Cheltenham.

I'm hoping to raise 500 pounds this time round, and hopefully this can go to help those that need it.
