Story
On Friday 3rd May 2024 I am taking on the challenge of completing the Cape Wrath Trail for a charity close to my heart, The Footprints Family.
The Footprints Family UK charity has dedicated the last 13 years to enhancing the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children and young people, in rural Kenya. I am visiting Kenya to volunteer for The Footprints Family in July and any donations made will directly support the incredible work they do. To learn more about The Footprints Family, check out their website; www.footprintsfamily.com
The Cape Wrath Trail is a hiking route that runs through the Scottish Highlands and along the west coast of Scotland. It is approximately 230 miles in length and is considered to be one of the most challenging long distance walks in the UK. I am aiming to complete the hike in 10 days, averaging 23 miles per day, with just my backpack and tent.
If you would like to donate towards the cause, I would really appreciate any donations, no matter how big or small.
