Footstepping for a cure

Footsteps Nursery is raising money for Cure Parkinson’s

Hike to the top of Kinder Scout · 18 April 2026

We’re here for the cure. Cure Parkinson’s is working with urgency to find new treatments to slow, stop and reverse Parkinson’s.

Story

The Footsteps family are embarking on a heartfelt journey to raise funds for Cure Parkinson's, a charity that resonates deeply with us. This cause touches the lives of countless individuals and their families, including those we hold dear.

On April 18th 2026, we will take on the challenge of hiking to the top of Kinder Scout, the highest point in the peak district, not just for ourselves but for everyone affected by Parkinson's disease. Our goal is to come together across our two nurseries to raise as much money as possible to support vital research and provide essential resources that bring hope and assistance to those living with this condition every day.

Every step we take brings us closer to a future without Parkinson's.

Your support means the world to us!

We will be holding many different events from January to April in Boxmoor and Buzzard, these will include cake and book sales, name the teddy, guess how many sweets in a jar, orange and blue days, children's sponsored walks, pj days and so much more!

With Love,

The Whole Footsteps Family.
