In July, our beautiful baby daughter, Billie Woodhead-Hanson, was born sleeping at 32 weeks. It is impossible to put into words how difficult it is to deal with losing her.

We learnt quickly that one of the only things you can do to cope with the loss of a baby is to find a community of people who understand your pain. We have found this is Chasing Rainbows 🌈 🫶🏻

We knew about the success and importance of this local charity and the work they do before Billie was conceived, but have benefited so much from their support since she passed away. From their advice, to castings of little Billie’s hands and feet and their Forget Me Not support group, we have felt less alone and part of a community alongside Billie 💕

Billie’s dad, Woody, plans to do as much as he can (probably run as far as he can!) all in the memory of her whilst raising money for this essential charity 🌈

He will be running his first official marathon, the Kirkstall Abbey Trail marathon on November 23rd 2025 and the London Landmarks Half marathon on 12th April 2026.
