Story
In November 2024, after a routine mammogram, my mum was diagnosed with grade 2 breast cancer that had spread to her lymph nodes. Since then, she has undergone a full mastectomy, six rounds of chemotherapy, and fifteen rounds of radiotherapy. She is now continuing treatment with long-term immunotherapy and is not yet cancer-free.
Despite everything, she has shown incredible strength, resilience, and positivity—lifting all of us through the hardest moments.
To honour her fight, I’m taking on the challenge of completing an Ironman. It’s my way of reflecting the determination she shows every single day and proving what belief and perseverance can achieve.
I’m raising funds for Breast Cancer Now, who played a vital role in my mum’s diagnosis and have been a constant source of support ever since—always there with information, reassurance, and care when we needed it most.
Their work in early detection, treatment, and prevention is helping to save lives, while also supporting those affected by breast cancer every step of the way.
Any donation, big or small, would mean so much. Thank you for your support.
This one’s for you, Mum
