If you spent any time with Lesley, it's likely that gardens or botany came up in conversation at least once. She had a huge variety of passions, but one of the things that made her happiest was growing and knowing about plants, and sharing that joy with others.

The MAXwell centre (https://www.maxdundee.org.uk/) is a community hub that provides garden space, classes in gardening, cookery and crafts, and groups and activities for the people of Hilltown in Dundee. It also gives help, support and freshly grown food to those who need it most. We hope that it's a fitting tribute to Lesley to help the centre spread the love and joy of gardening.
