I'm running Cardiff Half Marathon 2025 for Friends of Animals Wales in memory of my beautiful little girl Madeline, who passed away in my arms after being attacked on our dog walk on the 23rd of July.

Friends of Animals Wales chose me to be Madeline's family in the summer of 2023, and she gave me nothing short of the happiest and most loved 2 years of my life. She became my shadow, my adventure buddy and the love of my life - a life which was far too short.

This local charity are so dedicated in what they do and help animals in need all over South Wales. They foster rescue animals, provide life saving veterinary care and choose the perfect people to look after each animal. The charity is run by amazing volunteers and fosterers that I cannot thank enough.

To my little running buddy, this is for you pretty girl.
