Michael was such a wonderful human being and was 'that' guy who could make you feel great about yourself. Unfortunately life got too much for him and he decided it was his time to leave us.

His absence will leave a huge hole in the lives of everyone who knew him, and to know him was to love him!

Not long ago I took Michael out on his first hike/wildcamp, he complained about me making him walk so far with a heavy backpack on, I cooked him a steak dinner and we watched the sunset...we had a blast and talked about going on more camping trips.

So in honour of Michael, and to raise some money for MIND (a charity close to Michael's heart) I am going to walk the Raad ny Foillan (The Way of the Gull) which is a 100 mile coastal path around the Isle of Man.

I will carry everything with me in my backpack and will be camping each night, hoping to get round in 6 days.

If you can spare a few quid (especially considering times are tight for everyone) it really would mean the world to me and you will be helping a fantastic charity who do an incredible amount of work to help those suffering with their mental health.
