Story
We are raising money for the Queen Elizabeth Brain Tumour Fund in memory of Oliver “Olly” Adams.
Olly was diagnosed with a rare form of brain tumour 7 years ago. Brain tumours are the biggest cancer killer of children and adults under the age of 40 and there are over 120 different types. They are difficult to research and their location means both their symptoms and treatments are often hard on patients.
Although treatment was not curative, Olly received amazing care throughout his illness from the incredible team at the QE Hospital in Birmingham.
The money raised will help fund brain tumour research, this is vital part of the work of the QE Brain Tumour Fund as it drives the development of new treatments, early diagnoses, and ultimately brings us closer to a future where fewer families lose loved ones to this devastating disease.
