Story

Riley Austin and George Aitken both aged 14 will be running 10k as a challange to raise money and awareness for Throat Cancer Foundation. Jon a close family friend was diagnosed with stage 4 laryngeal cancer November 2022. Since then he has udergone a 9 hour op to remove voice box thyroid gland and over 80 lymph nodes. 30 rounds of radiotherapy and 2 bouts of chemo. He now lives with a perm tracheostomy. Any monies raised will go to help anybody effected by throat cancer.

About the charity

We are the only UK foundation who are dedicated and aim to improve throat cancer treatment processes, help to develop better cures, support both patients and medical professionals and educate more people on how to look after their throats to lessen their risk of developing this horrible cancer.
