In April 2026, we will be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon in memory of our good friend, Danny who sadly passed away after losing his battle with cancer.

Danny who was diagnosed with a rare form of lung cancer (Poorly differentiated squamous cell carcinoma of mediastinal origin) in August 2023.

We have been friends with Danny have been friends for many years.

Anyone who’s met Danny will tell you of his friendly and mischievous character, always makes people laugh, he has the ability to connect with people wherever he goes, with his loyalty and selflessness.

Danny was hospitalised on the 3rd of August 2023 after a period of feeling breathless and severe coughing.

After numerous biopsies, blood tests, scans and weeks of waiting for a diagnosis. He was diagnosed with Poorly differentiated squamous cell carcinoma of mediastinal origin, which is a rare and aggressive form of lung cancer.

This was a shock to Danny, his family and friends as he was 29 years old at the time, in good health, a non smoker and no pre-existing health issues
