Story

Forest Jackson is an 11 year old boy who was diagnosed with autism and global developmental delay when he was just 3 years old. He attends a specialist school setting for those diagnosed with asd. Due to sensory overload, hair cutting has always been a huge ordeal for Forest, and ultimately the decision was made to let it grow. A few years back, Forest heard of a charity that makes wigs for children with cancer who rely on people donating their own hair, and with that the fate of his luscious locks was sealed. Forest exclaimed that is what he wanted to do. He wanted to give his hair to children with cancer to make them feel better!

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions such as Alopecia.

The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

The Little Princess Trust relies solely on the generosity of its wonderful supporters who help the charity give Hair and Hope to so many children and young people with cancer each year.
