Story
On Sunday 7th September, myself and a few others will be taking on the National Three Peaks, aiming to complete Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in 24 hours, to raise money for Forest Hall Amateur Boxing Club. This club means the world to me, and I've been afforded some incredible opportunities to train and compete in boxing so far, owed entirely to our coaches. The difference that the gym makes to the local community isn't praised enough, opening 6 days a week to help young people get fit, learn new skills and develop invaluable self-confidence, and that's before they even step into the boxing ring. For those competing, so much time and effort is put into organising fights and preparing us for them, not to mention the cost of putting on home shows and taking part in boxing events around the country, and even abroad. My aim is to raise £750 ahead of the new season to support any boxers competing away, our home show in March and anything else that enables the club to continue improving the lives of young people through this amazing sport. Thank you for taking the time to read my page and any help you can provide, either by making a donation or spreading the word, is massively appreciated 🥊
