Inspired and motivated by a brave, kind and incredible little girl - in September we are taking on YR WYDDFA 2026 (Snowdon!). A 15km Hike, 15km Cycle and 3km Kayak. GULP.

Many of you know her story and know that an enormous part of her recovery has been in the love she has found for fundraising. She has a determination to give back. To thank the hospital who saved her life.

She created a campaign called 'Forever Alder Hey' - A commitment to raising fifty thousand pounds for ALDER HEY. She wants to inspire family, friends and our local community to get involved, to show that kindness ALWAYS WINS and to bring people together - and wow has she done that.

So, now it's my turn to show up for her campaign and help her smash her goal. She's currently at FORTY THREE THOUSAND...

I am doing this with the greatest of friends and family who have been by my side since it happened....they have agreed to take on Yr Wydffa with me - Thank you Uncle Gaz, Uncle Mike and Rawly - this means so much.

We know this challenge will be difficult physically (and emotionally for me) but we are determined to get her closer to her target and celebrate the life saving work that Alder Hey do every single day.
