Story
As lots of you know, myself & my husband recently experienced our third miscarriage. In the depths of infertility and recurrent loss we started running together (when Alex doesn’t leave me) as a way to do something positive and have a focus and drive.
On the 12th September we will be doing a 10k together to mark what would have been our second babies due date. We’ve not signed up for a race, it’ll just be me & my husband pacing me, tackling a challenge together in the hopes of raising a few extra pennies for an incredible charity that’s supported us both so much.
We’d really struggle without the support of Chasing Rainbows, and we so very nearly made it to £4,000 after our walk in May to remember our babies and my best friend’s baby Noah. We hope to exceed this and raise that little bit more this year!
I know we have asked so much in the last 12 months to raise money for this charity, but I can honestly say I have no idea where I’d be without them. The support groups, the wellbeing weekend, and some of the strongest women I’ve met along the way really do mean the world to me and it wouldn’t be possible for them to support families like ours without the donations people generously give.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to those who have already donated, who will donate, and who have supported us in any way over the last 18 months on our journey.
For our 3 stars in the sky ✨ & the hope we hold onto for our rainbow 🌈
