At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

We are Pearl, Sarah, and Judy and we met through our shared passion for making ceramics. There is, however, another common thread to our friendship: dementia. All of us have or had a parent who suffered with this terrible disease. Because of this we decided to name our collaborative the Forget-Me-Pots, a nod to both the Alzheimer’s Society emblem and our making.

We will be exhibiting our creations at Herefordshire’s h.art week which runs from 2nd-10th September 2023. We’re at Venue 8 on St Martin’s St, Hereford. We’re raising funds during the event by selling our hand-made ceramic forget-me-nots (that you can see in the top thumbnail) and through donations for teas and coffees.

To view some of our other creations which will also be available to view and purchase at h.art, visit our Instagram site:

We hope to see you in Hereford but if you can’t make it, we’d be thrilled if you could make a donation here.

Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.

Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
