Words alone cannot express how grateful we are to everyone at St Barnabas for the phenomenal care and kindness they gave to Mum, and the comfort they brought to us as a family. Mum was only in the hospice for the last two days of her fab life. The support and kindness we received during that short time will stay with us forever.

Instead of sending flowers or gifts, we’d be so grateful if you would consider a donation to St Barnabas, so that other families can be surrounded by the same care, kindness and compassion when they need it most.

St Barnabas Hospice is a local independent charity who supports more than 12,000 people across Lincolnshire during the most tricky times. They deliver the most amazing compassionate end-of-life care and support and they are reliant on fundraising to keep going. They couldn’t have done more for mum, and for us as a family and we will be forever grateful.

We will meet at 12 at the Lincoln Crematorium on Tuesday 7 October, followed by Washingborough Hall Hotel to have a glass of Champagne for mum. There is no dress code as we want people to feel comfortable, however please do wear a splash of colour.
