Story
Running the London Marathon for Zac 💙
In April 2026 I will run the London Marathon in memory of my son, Zac.
Zac died due to Group B Strep, a devastating infection that many parents have never even heard of until it is too late.
Losing a child changes your life forever.
Running this marathon is my way of honouring Zac’s life and helping prevent other families from experiencing the same heartbreak.
I am raising funds for Group B Strep Support (GBSS), a charity dedicated to saving babies’ lives through awareness, education and research.
Group B Strep is not rare.
In the UK:
At least two babies every day develop a Group B Strep infection
One baby dies every week
One baby every week survives with lifelong disabilities

The heartbreaking reality is that many of these infections are preventable with better awareness and testing.
That is why GBSS exists.
By supporting this charity, you are helping to:
• educate parents and healthcare professionals
• increase awareness of GBS in pregnancy
• support research and prevention
• help protect newborn babies
Every mile I run in London will be for Zac.
If you are able to donate, no matter how small, it will make a real difference.
Thank you for helping keep Zac’s memory alive and helping protect other babies.
💙
