Story
In March, I lost my Nonno — my whole world, and someone deeply loved by so many others. Watching him battle dementia was one of the hardest things our family has ever experienced. Dementia is a cruel disease that slowly takes away memories, independence, and ultimately the people we love.
To honor my Nonno and everyone affected by this disease, my partner Keelan and I have decided to race in HYROX NYC with a purpose bigger than ourselves. I’ve been training and competing in HYROX for a while, but this one means so much more. We are dedicating this race to my Nonno and raising money to support dementia research, awareness, education, and resources for families fighting this battle every day.
Any donation, share, or support means the world to us and helps continue the fight against dementia. Thank you for helping us honor my Nonno’s memory and make a difference for others facing this heartbreaking disease.
