Having visited Fountain of Peace in Western Uganda in the summer of 2023, a group of us decided to get together again to raise money for this amazing charity which provides a loving home for orphaned and abandoned children.

FOP is now home to 75 babies and children up to the age of 11, many of whom were orphaned as a result of maternal mortality. Others come into the care of FOP as the extreme poverty in the area means their families cannot afford to care for them.

When these children arrive at FOP they are often malnourished and some have experienced unimaginable trauma. All receive a loving welcome and consider Fountain of Peace to be their forever family. Together they learn about the love of Jesus as they grow up in family homes of 8 children with a nanny and mother.
