Fox & Sons Bitterne Property Challenge for Dementia UK

On 9th December, the team at Fox & Sons Bitterne will be taking on our biggest challenge yet, all in support of Dementia UK.

As estate agents, we spend our days helping people find homes, move closer to loved ones and begin new chapters in their lives. This December, we're stepping outside the office and onto the streets to raise money for a cause that affects millions of families across the UK.

Our challenge is simple in theory, but certainly not in practice.

We will be attempting to visit every single one of our For Sale and To Let properties across our patch in just one day. That's around 65 properties and an estimated 25-30 miles on foot.

Split into two teams of two, we'll be running, jogging and probably walking by the end, as we make our way from property to property. At each stop we'll take a photo, showcase the home and share our progress throughout the day on social media so everyone can follow the journey.

Why Dementia UK?

Most of us know someone who has been affected by dementia. It's a condition that impacts not only those living with it but also their families and loved ones. Dementia UK provides specialist support through its Admiral Nurses, helping families navigate some of the most difficult and emotional challenges they may ever face.

By taking on this challenge, we hope to raise vital funds to support the incredible work they do while also bringing our local community together behind an important cause.

There will undoubtedly be sore legs, aching feet and moments where we question whose idea this was, but every mile we complete will be for families facing challenges far greater than our own.
