Story
Hi everyone,
On 27th September 2025, we, the Cardiac Cath Lab nurses and Physiologists from the Cardiac Department, will be taking on the challenge of climbing Mount Snowdon—the highest mountain in Wales.
This isn’t just any climb. It’s our way of raising money for the place we are so proud to work—and the people we care for.
Every day, we have the privilege of working alongside an incredible team, supporting patients who are facing some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Our department cares for people with heart conditions through elective, inpatient and emergency treatment, recovery, and rehabilitation. It’s a demanding role, and we see firsthand how essential it is to have the right tools, resources, and environment to deliver the very best care.
This challenge is especially meaningful for us. A few of us taking the challenge have osteoarthritis in their knees, so the climb will be even tougher—but we are determined to reach the Summit together.
🎯 Our fundraising target is £1,250 (£250 per participant) and we would be incredibly grateful for your support. Every penny raised will help our team continue providing exceptional care to our cardiac patients.
💙 Please consider donating to “FHC Climb Snowdon 2025” as part of the FHC Snowdon Challenge.
Your support truly means so much to us—and it makes a significant difference in our ability to provide exceptional care.
Thank you for helping us climb higher, together.
