Story
In June 2026, we lost our beautiful wife, daughter, sister, friend and colleague, aged 32.
Throughout Fionnuala’s illness, she was cared for by the Teenage and Young Adult Cancer (TYAC) team at Royal Surrey Hospital. We have nothing but thanks for the treatment and care provided by the team at Royal Surrey.
To honour Fionnuala’s memory, a group of family and friends (and dogs, of course) are coming together to take part in Royal Surrey’s annual Stride for Cancer Care walk. Together, we will each walk 25km to raise money for the vital services provided by Royal Surrey.
This walk is about remembering Fionnuala and celebrating the person that she was, whilst simultaneously saying thank you to the team who looked after her.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help Royal Surrey to continue providing specialist cancer care and support to patients and their families.
