The House of Commons just voted 314 to 291 in favour of the Assisted Suicide Bill. A real sadness, and a direct reflection of the state of current thinking about the gift of, and value of life.
Whatever your opinion of today's vote and its impactful results, palliative care is still very much needed - now more than ever.
If you would like to sponsor me to help raise funds (PLEASE DO!) then simply following the link and make your pledge.

Marie Curie is here for anyone with an illness they’re likely to die from, and those close to them. Whatever the illness, wherever you are, we’re with you to the end. We bring 75 years of experience and leading research to the care we give you at home, in our hospices and over the phone.
