The International Children’s Fund has partnered with Great Commission Victory Ministries International to introduce Victory University for Women, a women’s university in Liberia committed to transforming lives through education. On six acres in Sewebgeh Township, the Victory University for Women broke ground on August 1, 2021.

The Women’s University project is progressing steadily but still requires significant resources to be fully completed. As of August 1, 2024, the project has completed 85% of the planned construction. The ground floor is 90% complete, with remaining tasks including septic tank installation, electrical work, plumbing, and painting. The first floor has seen 85% completion, with plastering of the walls currently ongoing. After which, we are targeting window installation and laying of tiles. The second floor is 80% complete, with roofing yet to be done.
