Story

Six years ago, me & seven brilliant friends walked 26 miles along the South Downs way and between us raised a whopping £10k for the Royal Marsden. Life & lockdowns got in the way since, but this year we're back and our group has more than doubled. Each one of us has a reason to walk & a story to tell, here's mine:

Eight years ago, my husband Ben was diagnosed with Angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma, a rare type of non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Following chemo, an autologous cell transplant, immunotherapy, a second stem-cell transplant plus a gazillion post-transplant complications, Ben continues to be treated at, and cared for by the Royal Marsden

TEAM SUPERTRAMPS are: Su Valente, Helen Hanson, Sophie Saunders, Holly Murray, Julia Lawton, Jacquie Moon, Jessie Scoular, Claire Smith, Amy Osborne, Annabel Beresford, Carol Matthews, Kate Magowan, Claire Hines, Gabs Minkley, Hannah Dawson, Miranda Peters, Nicky Sadofski, Sarah Spencer, Sarah Baggaley, Teresa Raeburn, Marie Walshe, and me, Fran Soler

Thank you in advance to all our supporters, to every single one of the brilliant walkers, and mostly to the team at the Royal Marsden for all the care & endless kindnesses over the years
