Story
Having both lived in London for a number of years it's been impossible not to notice the increase of homeless people right across the City. We both always try to make an effort to have a chat with them rather than just drop money off and walk away. Fran even gave someone her Softcat wooly hat! After speaking to more and more people, it was shocking to hear how ordinary their situations were; one person we spoke to just suffered after going through a divorce and losing their job.
We know it isn't going to change the entire world but if you can spare £5-10 then we promise to do our best to complete the Hackney half later this year together. Fran only ran her first 10km a few months ago so this is no joke for us!

Each day across all 32 London boroughs, our staff work with individuals to tackle the underlying causes of homelessness, such as poor mental health or drug and alcohol dependency.
Often that means being there for people at a critical time whether to prevent their eviction or help them off the street; to get them into drug or alcohol treatment or support them with their mental health; or to help them find a job and a flat so that the so that they can take the final steps to living on their own.
