Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Being strapped to the top of a plane and flown through the air isn’t everyone’s idea of fun - but to me, it sounds like a challenge worth taking on!
Over the years, I’ve ticked off my fair share of adrenaline-fuelled experiences - from zorbing and white-water rafting to bungee jumps and skydives. So, when Martin from Samuel’s Charity put out a call for Wing Walk volunteers at an Ask GoTo networking event, my reaction was simple: why not?!
On Saturday 23rd May 2026, I’ll be taking to the skies, and I’d love to raise as much money as possible for Samuel’s Charity along the way.
Samuel’s Charity is a UK-based organisation supporting children and young people with serious, complex or terminal illnesses. Their mission is to improve quality of life both in hospital and at home.
Inspired by the treatment journey of Martin’s nine-year-old son, Samuel, the charity works tirelessly to make hospital wards less frightening and more welcoming for children. They provide comfort kits, entertainment and sensory equipment, enhance ward environments, and offer emotional support.
They also run an “At Home” service, helping medically stable children who might otherwise remain in hospital return home, where they receive tailored support within their community.
Working closely with hospitals and partner organisations, the charity helps ease the transition to home care and provides practical, emotional and recreational support to children and their families across the UK.
Like many charities right now, they are facing significant challenges with fundraising. Any donation - large or small - will make a real difference and help them continue their incredible work.
