Shared Parenting Scotland promotes Shared Parenting. Kids whose parents split up should have an ongoing, caring and nurturing relationship with both their parents. Kids who maintain contact with both their parents have better outcomes now and in later life. Help us to promote shared parenting.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am passionate about ensuring that both parents and wider families can continue to have fantastic relationships with their children after a family break-up. The science is clear, and common sense tells us that children can thrive if both of their parents and grandparents can continue to be actively involved in their lives.

Children denied this often grow up plagued by low self-worth, anxiety and mental health issues, having been caught in the middle of conflict.

Safe, loving parents denied a relationship with their children desperately need support to come to terms with the nightmare they are forced to endure.

Sometimes the emotional pain is just too much to live with.

This is where Shared Parenting Scotland provides a lifeline to these desperate parents, but they need your support to reach all the parents that contact them for support.

The helpline, training for lay supporters, courses for parents, the monthly support meetings, and advocating for parents all require funding.

If you're in Scotland please support me in this.

(If you're south of the border, I'm fundraising for Both Parents Matter too)
