Story
In April 2026, I’ll be running the London Marathon in support of Mind, a charity that holds a very personal place in my heart.
For years, I’ve lived with the unbareable weight of anxiety and depression. There were times when even getting out of bed felt impossible, when the world felt too loud, too fast, and far too heavy. In those moments, Mind was a lifeline — offering compassion, guidance, and most importantly, a safe space where I didn’t have to pretend I was okay. They helped me understand I wasn’t alone, and that what I was feeling was valid.
Running has changed my life completely - it became an escape — a quiet rebellion against the chaos in my head. Over time, it has become a form of therapy, a way to reconnect with myself and find peace in motion. It didn’t fix everything, but it gave me clarity, purpose, and a sense of strength I didn’t know I had.
Now, I’m taking on 26.2 miles — not just for myself, but for anyone who’s ever felt lost in the dark. This run is for every silent struggle, every hidden battle, and for the incredible work Mind does every single day.
If you can, please support this journey. Your donation will help Mind continue to be that safe space for others — just as they were for me.
Let’s run for hope. For healing. For mental health. #TEAMMIND
