Story
In April 2026, I will be taking on the huge challenge of running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for a special cause.
As many of you may know, I was born with hip dysplasia that was sadly missed at my routine baby checks. This led to many appointments and corrective procedures/surgeries over the years, all performed at the Norfolk and Norwich hospital, specifically the Jenny Lind department.
Throughout my childhood and teenage years, I wasn’t able to really walk comfortably, let alone run or play sports.
Now, following a hip replacement in 2019, I am setting myself this challenge, to raise money for a charity that supported me so much, and gave me a chance to get mobile again. I had never run more than 1 or 2km until 2025, so a half marathon will be a hell of a physical and mental challenge for me!
Thank you for following along and supporting me for an excellent cause. I hope this will go towards supporting children and their families going through challenging times.
