I'm joining Michaela's team for the Kilt Walk 2025, walking 14 miles from Clydebank to Balloch to help raise funds for Marie Curie. Below is Michaela's story and our reason why we are raising money for Marie Curie ....

Michaela -

As most of you know in June 2021 My Sister Nicki passed away after a battle with Cervical Cancer. As this was during covid restrictions, Hospitals and Hospices weren't accessible for visitors and due to this, Nicki made the brave decision to be at home with us during her final days.

The team at Marie Curie supported us in many ways throughout those difficult weeks/days and helped Nicki have the dignified care she deserved. The team where there right up until her passing and made sure Shaun, My mum and I where able to be there during her final moments. I can only hope by raising money for their cause this will enable other families to gain similar support during their toughest times.

To Raise money My Friends and I will be walking the 'Big Stoll' the 14 mile route as part of the Kilt Walk on Saturday 26th April. Any donation you can give would be massively appreciated.
