Story
Hi friends, this April I will be running the London Marathon and raising money for the Dougie Mac Hospice, in honour of my late mum.
The Dougie Mac is a local Stoke-on-Trent charity which provides free hospice services for those with life limiting illnesses who need it. I’m honoured to raise money for them as my mum herself used Dougie Mac’s services after being diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer and they were so good to her in a time of need, and I know many families across Stoke will share the same experience. For more info see their website here https://dougiemac.org.uk
In 2021, my mum was diagnoised with stage 4 breast cancer. This is where the cancer spreads from the breast to elsewhere in the body, making it incurable. The cancer spread to her bones, liver and brain and in August 2022, she sadly passed away after a brave fight. Throughout her journey, she remained positive and determined and was a true inspiration.
All donations are much appreciated!! ❤️
A marathon is double the distance I’ve ever ran, I’m slightly nervous but also excited and this challenge is so worth it for my lovely mum and Dougie Mac. You can track my training on my Strava here

Regardless of if you can donate or not, please remember to check your boobies and go to the doctors if you think something isn’t quite right.
