On Saturday 6th January, I will be running the Polar Half Marathon in Tromsø with my old friends Ian Morgan and Phil Riley.

In November 2019, Phil was diagnosed with Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma. He declared a bucket list of things he'd like to do and the Polar Half Marathon was right at the top. So we signed up.

Unfortunately there followed a few years of Phil's treatments and COVID interruptions but at the end of 2023, Phil declared 2024 to be the year.

We will be raising cash for Rotherham Cancer Care which has helped Phil through some some of his toughest times.

Please give what you can spare and think of us in the freezing cold and darkness with only Phil and Ian's terrible humour to see us through.
