Francis Clark's fundraiser for The Wave Project

Francis Clark is raising money for The Wave Project
The Wave Project is an award winning UK charity that helps vulnerable children and young people improve their health and wellbeing through a combination of surfing and mentoring. With the aid of our amazing volunteers and supporters, we've worked with thousands of children over the past 12 years.

Story

Francis Clark - Truro Office are raising money for The Wave Project throughout 2025.

One of our colleagues tragically lost her son, Harry, last year. The Wave Project supported him in many ways and we would like to support them.

This year several members of staff, including Harry's mum and dad, will be taking on the Langdale10 Challenge on the 7th June in Harry's memory. This is a 15 mile walk with 5,479ft of uphill.

Other members of staff will be competing in the classic quarter on the 24th May, with some members of staff running 44 miles along the Cornish coast.

The Wave Project began ten years ago on the beaches of Cornwall. Since then, the project has expanded across the UK, but Cornwall remains one of the busiest locations.

The Wave Project improves children’s mental health and wellbeing through their award-winning Surf Therapy programme. Surf Therapy is a programme that enables children and young people to build confidence and overcome anxiety barriers through surfing.

Your donations will all be muchly appreciated by the charity and all money we raise will be specifically for the Newquay branch.
