Story
This September, I’ll be taking on the Great North Run in memory of my grandma, who sadly passed away in February.
My grandma lived with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), and seeing the challenges she faced throughout her life showed me just how cruel this disease can be. She was an incredibly important person to me, and losing her has left a huge gap in our family.
Running a half marathon will be challenging, but it feels like a meaningful way to honour her memory and raise awareness of a condition that affects so many people.
Every mile I run will be for my grandma and for everyone affected by MS. Any donation, no matter how small, would be hugely appreciated and will help the MS Society continue its vital work supporting people living with MS and funding research into better treatments and, hopefully one day, a cure.
Thank you for your support.
