This year, I’m taking on the 2025 Berlin Marathon to raise money for the MS Society, and I need your help.

Why? Because MS has stolen too much.

My beautiful, kind, and fiercely strong mother—who gave up everything to raise my brother and me as an immigrant in the U.S.—has been fighting multiple sclerosis for 30 years. I remember her as a powerhouse, capable of anything. Today, she struggles to walk. It breaks my heart.

And she’s not the only one. MS doesn’t discriminate. A dear friend from university, full of dreams and ambition, was struck down by this disease too. One day, you’re chasing your future. The next, your own body betrays you.

There is still no cure—but we can change that.
