I will be riding alongside several other clowns on itsy bitsy tricycles around Dulwich Park dressed as silly as possible to raise money for the work Clowns Without Borders UK are doing for the children in Ukraine!

In April 2023, I went with Clowns Without Borders UK to Türkiye to provide mental first aid to children and their families displaced by the earthquakes earlier that year. We visited Syrian and Turkish camps and I got to experience first hand the impact that Clowns Without Borders’ work has on children in crisis. Children of all ages would appear from tents and they would play, laugh, and sing with the clowns as they made their way through the camps.

I am getting my sweatband on and taking to the tricycle in order to raise money so that children affected by the war in Ukraine get to experience the necessary joy of just being children.

A child cannot wait for the end of a conflict to be children again. They need the opportunity to laugh and play now.
