Story

Hi,

I am walking the last leg of the Camino Frances from Sarria to Santiago de Compostella in order to raise funds for the Salford Diocesan Lourdes Pilgrimage Medical Team & CafT. All monies raised will be 50/50 split between the two groups as I am self funding my travel and accommodation.

I am somewhat nervous and apprehensive about the walk (just over 113Kms and that's before I get lost enroute). Additionally, I have been advised that my right knee needs replacing but that is going to have to wait till I achieve this target with your help. My younger brother, Tony, is keeping me company along the way although he has not committed himself to pushing me the rest of the way in a wheelchair if my right knee gives up.

I will be posting regular updates on my FB page along the Camino including the highs and lows.
