I’ve seemingly lost my mind… I’ll be running the Hackney Half Marathon on 18th May. I am not a runner but I’m determined to cross the finish line.

In December 2024, Shelter estimated that 1 in 47 Londoners are homeless. 65% of those living in temporary accommodation are women. 64% of women who are homeless are facing mental health issues. This is a community issue. We are all closer to being made homeless than we are to being the mega rich 1%.

Shelter believe that a safe home is a fundamental need and basic moral right. I feel the same, so I’ve decided to fundraise to support families and individuals facing homelessness.
