Frankie and Neeve’s Road Safety Academy: Coast to Coast Walk for Road Safety Awareness 2024 · 14 September 2024
Frankie and Neeve’s Road Safety Academy is thrilled to announce our first major fundraising challenge—a remarkable coast-to-coast walk from the Cumbrian coast of St. Bees to Robin Hood’s Bay in North Yorkshire. Spanning 12 days, this inspiring journey is set to take place from September 14th to September 26th, 2024.
This event aims to raise funds and awareness for road safety in memory of Frankie and Neeve, whose legacies inspire us to make our roads safer for everyone.
Frankie & Neeve's Road Safety Academy is a charitable organisation founded by Calvin Buckley, in collaboration with Frank Hough, in loving memory of Frankie Julia Hough and Neeve.
Frankie was an actress who appeared in Hollyoaks. Her life was tragically cut short in a road collision on May 13th, 2023. The collision, caused by reckless driving, not only claimed Frankie’s life but also led to the loss of her unborn child, Neeve, and left her sons, Tommy and Rocky and her nephew Tobias with life-altering injuries.
Calvin, Frankie’s partner and Frank, Frankie’s father, have experience the grief, loss and the human cost of the collision, igniting a passion for change within them. Fuelled by this and a determination to prevent similar tragedies, Calvin, alongside Frank, embarked on a journey to revolutionise road safety education in a bid to stop this happening to others.
At Frankie & Neeve's Road Safety Academy, our mission is clear: We believe that education is the key to effecting meaningful change, especially when it comes to road safety.
