I'm back again! This year I've gone bigger and better, from Trevs fashion show to Line Up! To fundraise (for the Matt Hampson Foundation, see below), I will be attempting to run a marathon at world record pace (in a relay team of 10). Additionally, myself and Noorie, the other triathlete in the show, set a joint fundraising goal of £350 for a coast-to-coast cycle. However, she hit this by herself before I had a chance to post, so I will be cycling from Whitehaven to Sunderland on the 18th May (Noo will be doing it across two days starting on the 17th so we finish at similar times). This ride is 210km with 3800m of elevation, with some of the hardest climbs in the UK ("the struggle" and "hardknotts pass"). I'm terrified, but it wouldn't be worth a donation if it wasn't a challenge! Thank you very much for your support xx

Line Up is Durham’s sports charity fashion show, taking place on the 18th of June 2025. We are made up of Durham University Student Athletes, participating in a variety of sports, who come together each year to take the stage and raise money for a chosen charity. Alongside the fashion show, we also run numerous fundraising events throughout the year such as raffles, auctions and other sports competitions. This year we are really proud to be collaborating with the Matt Hampson Foundation. The Hambo foundation inspires and supports young people seriously injured through sport, through its unique Get Busy Living centre. The centre provides support, mentoring and advice to people suffering a life-changing injury. The centre’s doors were opened in 2018 by Founder and ex-England and Leicester Tigers rugby player Matt Hampson, who himself experienced a life-changing injury in 2005. As sports people, we recognise the immense value of the work done by the Hambo foundation and we are really proud to be supporting such a worthy cause.
